The Death Episode: What to Say When There's Nothing to Say with Brad Wolfe

<< 15s 30s >> vota

We did an episode about death.
Stay with us, you're going to leave this one knowing exactly what to text a friend who's going through it, which is more than most of us have ever known.
Brad Wolfe runs Reimagine, the largest end-of-life gatherings in the country, a quarter of a million people, and it started with him bringing a guitar into his friend Sara's hospital room.
He told us why "let me know if there's anything I can do" never works, why you should take the question mark off your check-in text, and why the goal was never saying the perfect thing, it's showing up again after you've said the wrong one.
Becca gets into the people who didn't show up to the funeral.
We get into why year two is worse than year one, and why nobody warns you about that.
Brad's music: @bradwolfemoon, he's playing live in Seattle on Keltie's book tour.
Reimagine is free at letsreimagine.org, and their virtual summit is October 15.
